State of the Parish/Discipleship Sunday

Believing as a Beloved Disciple through Grace, Gratitude and Generosity

This fall, we have launched the theme of Believing as a Beloved Disciple, following Pope Benedict XVI’s declaration of the coming year as the “Year of Faith”.  We have integrated this theme into the different facets of our parish life through the prism of Grace, Gratitude and Generosity.

We believe that as Beloved Disciples, our shared faith is a precious gift from God.  Spending time in prayer with God, sharing our gifts and talents in our parish community and in the whole world, giving generously to support the church and its ministerial and outreach programs—all these are ways in which we are invited to live our faith as Beloved Disciples.

On November 4-5, Cambria Smith, our Parish Life Director, spoke at all of the Masses on the State of the Parish.  She will speak again at all the Masses on Discipleship Sunday, November 11.  All registered parishioners will receive our covenant mailing through the mail. You may bring your commitment card with you to Mass this Sunday or mail back to the Pastoral Center.

Holy Family is providing the fertile soil for the mustard seed of faith to flourish in our community.  You are all invited to use your God-given gifts to serve one another, our Church and our world.
