The ministry of Administration oversees the
temporal affairs of the parish. The scope of this ministry entails management
of human resources, finance, facilities, and operations. While demanding
considerable technical and legal expertise, all administration is to be carried
out within the framework of shared ministry representing Christian and Catholic
values. The Pastor has ultimate responsibility for
administration within the parish, but most of the direct responsibility for
administration is in the hands of the Parish Administrator. The Parish Administrator is
ably assisted by a number of staff members, e.g., accountant, data processor,
facilities manager, receptionists, etc. The Parish Administrator also determines
whether to outsource a function, e.g., gardening, or to hire staff to do the
same.
