Pastor
Monsignor Clement Connolly is the Pastor of Holy Family Church. Ordained in 1964, Msgr. Connolly has pastored the parish since 1984. The Pastor is the overall leader of the parish, entrusted with the day-to-day pastoral care and administration. The Pastor is appointed by the Cardinal Archbishop. Together with the Associate Priests, the Parish Administrator, the parish lay staff, the Finance and Pastoral Councils, and the five commissions, the Pastor enables and empowers the community to be a faithful witness to Jesus Christ and to the Kingdom of God. Being rooted in Christ, the Pastor is a servant leader challenged to incarnate the values of the Gospel.

Priests
Three priests collaborate with the Pastor. Fr. Jose Parathanal is Associate Pastor. Fr. Niall O’Leary is the Director of Spirituality, and Fr. Anthony Scannell, Capuchin, is a Weekend Presider.

Parish Administrator
Karl Holtsnider, a layperson, is the Parish Administrator. He is charged with assisting the Pastor in overseeing the temporal affairs of the parish and supervising key lay staff ministers of the parish.

Lay Staff
Holy Family is blessed with a large and talented lay staff. Assisting the Pastor, the priests, and the Parish Administrator are 13 other laypersons working on a full-time basis and managing the key ministries of the parish. A support staff of 37 other laypersons handle the operational, clerical, janitorial, and maintenance tasks of our parish complex. For each of the five areas of parish life — Worship, Education/Formation, Outreach, Community Life, and Administration — there is a staff member engaged in that ministry area and representing that particular area on the corresponding commission. (see Commissions) These five staff members with the Pastor form the Resource Group. The Resource Group meets monthly after the commission meetings to share, support, and coordinate what is happening within the commissions and to interrelate activities involving more than one area of ministry. (see Staff Directory)

Finance Council
The Finance Council is the chief advisory body to the Pastor on fiscal matters. The Finance Council is composed of the Pastor, the Parish Administrator, and a volunteer group of 10 parishioners with expertise in financial matters. (see Finance Council)

Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is the chief advisory body to the Pastor for parish planning. The Pastoral Council is composed of the Pastor, the Parish Administrator, and a volunteer group of 12 parishioners who provide overall vision and direction to the parish, particularly through the five commissions which represent the five facets of parish life. (see Pastoral Council)

Commissions
The five facets of parish ministry — Worship, Education/Formation, Outreach, Community Life, and Administration — each have a body of eight to 15 parishioners who carry out activities in their respective areas through subcommittees and lend direction to the ministries which fall within their purview. Each commission has a full-time lay staff member on it.

A Vision for Parish Leadership
As Holy Family looks to the future and the diminishing number of priests to pastor parishes, the parish has created its own vision for future leadership. Working with our regional Bishop and the Cardinal Archbishop, Holy Family is seeking a lay Parish Life Director to assume primary responsibility for the pastoral and administrative care of the parish. (see A Vision for Parish Leadership)
