Church Environment Committee Member |

Purpose of Position
Serve as a member of the parish committee responsible for
decorating the church worship environment. The committee designs and installs
decorations in keeping with the liturgical themes.
Responsibilities
- Meet periodically, as required. (The committee does not have
regularly scheduled meetings.)
- Design, install and maintain the fabric art and other
accoutrements for the liturgical seasons. Install banners, ribbons, and other
pieces of decorative art.
- Arrange potted flowers and plants.
Skills Needed
- Willingness to help and perform tasks as assigned during
installation
- Artistic and creative abilities most welcome
- Experience in floral arrangement helpful but not essential
When Ministry is Performed
The time commitment is flexible and varies from project to
project. Committee members should be available for installation of decorations.
The busiest periods are at the beginning of each liturgical season (Advent,
Christmas, Lent, Triduum, and Easter).
