Fr. Anthony Scannell, Spiritual Director of Catholics In Media, will present films for Lent viewing and discussion. A simple soup dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by an abridged viewing of the film at 7:00 p.m., and discussion. The evening closes at about 8:30 p.m. Admission is free. Soup and Cinema is held at the St. Joseph Center.
In one of the Lenten readings, Moses urges his people, and us, to "Choose Life!" That is the theme for this year's Lenten Soup and Cinema series.

In the film The Visitor, another Walter (Academy award nominee Richard Jenkins) has been drifting aimlessly through his life as a professor until he discovers a couple who have taken up residence in his vacant New York apartment, and begins experiences that help him choose life in a way that changes his life forever.
