Mission Statement
The Filipino American Catholic Association fosters a spirit of fellowship and togetherness in prayer and extends help to those in need. Its main objective is to preserve the Filipino American culture for future generations.
About the Filipino American Catholic Association
The organization participates in the Parish Fair and the Holy Family Auction. Its major fundraising event is a dance in the fall each year to support the association’s apostolic work and the Holy Family Giving Bank.
Members prepare spiritual bouquets of prayer and Masses for members who are ill and lend support to families of deceased members. Other activities include:
- Mass and healing service on the first Friday of every month, in conjunction with Bukas Loob Sa Dios community
- Block Rosary and Divine Mercy Prayer evenings on the second and last Sundays of the month, hosted by various families throughout the year
- Celebration of the Feast of Divine Mercy with the Blessed Mother Prayer Group on the first Sunday after Easter (“Mercy Sunday”)
- Celebration of the Infant Jesus of Prague
- Simbang Gabi, the traditional Filipino Christmas holiday Mass and reception
All are welcome to become involved in this group, make new friends, and learn about Filipino culture, heritage, and faith traditions.
