Mission Statement
The role of the Administration Commission is to assist management, particularly the Parish Administrator and his staff, in overseeing the temporal affairs of the parish. The commission lends expertise, advice, and practical assistance in providing stewardship of physical assets, overseeing parish operations, and communicating to parishioners or the larger community. The commission carries out its activities through subcommittees. Ministries to which the Administration Commission lends direction are listed under Ministries.
Administration Commission Seeks Volunteers for Business Operations Subcommittee
In the fall of 2008, the Administration Commission will be reviewing with staff the various functional areas of the parish. We are looking to form a subcommittee to help us with this project which is anticipated to last 6-8 months. The subcommittee will meet once a month to discuss with staff their current procedures and practices. The process will be to assist key staff members in evaluating their department or function with a goal to achieve excellent operating practices. Our goal is to assemble this subcommittee in April/May 2008 with the subcommittee beginning its work in September 2008.
If you are a Business Executive, COO, IT Manager, Human Resources Manager, Facilities Manager, CFO, CPA, General Manager, Purchasing Manager or Business Consultant and would like to assist us on this special project, please contact Ed Panconi, Administration Commission Chair at 323/816-3521 or

Database
The Database Subcommittee is evaluating the parish database in order to provide better access and use by the staff, ministries, parishioners, and the school. The committee is also expanding the parish email address database for more efficient and timely communication.
The committee hopes to develop an additional feature to enable individual parishioners to update their personal information by having direct access to their page(s).
