2013KSXmaswebThe mission of the Kindred Spirits Ministry is to create a Christ-centered community of fun, faith, and friendship for ‘mature’ single adults (in general, this group is ‘over 40′).   Our community is built on participating in fun social events, fulfilling spiritual enrichment activities, and meaningful service projects, activities that come from our life passions within the parish and beyond it.  Members of other parishes are enthusiastically welcomed as are like-minded singles who don’t happen to be Catholic.
All of us who walk the road of life, with all of its responsibilities and challenges, without a spouse or life partner, understand that sometimes it just helps to have a friend to go to Mass or attend a parish event with.  Life is richer when you have like-minded friends to go with to a movie, a concert, a lecture, a play. It’s a cherished moment when someone else who really understands our world can lend us their ear, and  more faith and love than we have at the moment, during times when our kids or aging parents are creating some extra heartache or worry.  Sometimes a friend showing up with a paintbrush when the bathroom MUST be painted means the world to us.
