The fires in Northern California have hit hard the Diocese of Santa Rosa. Many parishioners have lost their homes and/or their businesses. Others lost their jobs because their places of work were burned down. The Cardinal Newman High School and Saint Rose Elementary School have lost significant portions of their buildings. The fires have impacted the lives of thousands of people and now the enormous challenge of picking up the pieces is just beginning.
Bishop Robert Vasa, the Bishop of Santa Rosa, is grateful for all the prayers offered and asks that you continue to pray for the people of the Diocese of Santa Rosa. For those who would like to help financially, the diocese has set up a webpage where individuals can make donations. The web address is: www.srdiocese.org/signofhope.
