Did you get “counted” at the recent Holy Family census?
If so, we appreciate that you took the time to ensure your records are up-to-date at Holy Family (i.e. all children are listed, birth dates are correct, etc.). This is important for the church and for you and your family, especially with regard to sacraments, communications and education.
If you were not able to make it after one of the masses the last three weekends nor turn in an updated form, it is not too late. You can send an e-mail with any needed updates/additions to Theresa Shaw, our Database Coordinator, at theresa@holyfamily.org or call her at 626403-6102. You can also fill out/update a parish registration form.
I was privileged to be part of this event, it was great meeting parishioners. I especially enjoyed hearing the replies to the question, “What do you like about Holy Family?” The responses were as varied as our parishioners, some examples follow:
- like the Mass times
- it’s a second family, good community
- the strong sense of community, welcoming
- diverse community
- acceptance of everyone, fabulous sermons, “whole body of Christ is here”
- like the people and the parish leadership and feeling of community
We are always interested in ideas/suggestions/feedback about your Church. You may have noticed that there is a “Feedback” tab on the home page of the Holy Family website. You can use it to let us know what you think of anything you see on the website, or any other Holy Family related concerns. Of course, you can always post a comment on any of our blogs. Let us know what you think about what’s going on, or perhaps what you’d like to see happening here, or just share your faith with us. All comments are welcome!
