Summary
Isaiah tells us of a prophecy relating to the last days. God will reign
on earth and all nations of the world will come to learn of the Lord
and He will make peace and resolve conflict.
Reflection
There's something magical about prophecy. Yes, it is the revelation
of future events but it may also be related to the gift of knowledge
which God gives us, perhaps to motivate us. We have something to
look forward to. We have hope and a feeling of anticipation that puts
a kick in our step. There's no time for pessimism because we have
work to do in preparation of God's coming kingdom. We can actively
participate in the promise of this exciting new future by preparing for
it now.

I live by that iconic line in the movie, "Build it and they will come..." I
equate it to "plant it and it will grow..." How fun! I'm going to plant a
seed of peace here and a seed of harmony there and seeds of em-
pathy and kindness wherever I go. This
is the time to show our faith in action.
