humbled by the individual who allows us
help them, which is a gift of the Holy
Spirit, doing God’s will, to always put oth-
ers before ourselves.
As the holidays wind down and we put the
decorations away, let us remember those
who have made us humble by allowing us
to help them. For those who helped an
angel. For those who adopted a fam-
ily. For those who helped distribute the
food and gifts. We are
indeed humbled.
Let us, in our new found humility, not forget those we
serve. Just because it is January does not mean that
their needs have vanished, we must continue to serve all
those who are without a voice, being the Beloved Disci-
ple, hearing God’s voice from above and knowing God’
s speaks of each of us, with whom he well pleased.
Prayer
Lord, we thank you for showing us how to serve. We
thank you for the humility that we have received. As we
end our day, we pray that you will look down upon us
and say, “You are my beloved child; with you I am well
pleased.”
