and passions. Mark provides this wonderful example how Christ has truly come to
each of our lives, and will take away our own sins, our afflictions, our troubles,
and our wounds. Christ tells us to be not afraid to seek Him, and to keep our
faith in Him. A faith that is truly genuine, like the example of the afflicted woman,
we too can be clothed in the garment of salvation from our afflictions. A genuine
faith where we seek out to grab Jesus’ cloak, truly believing that He is the way
out of our afflictions and into salvation. Like the young woman, Jesus will know if
we reach out to touch him.
Prayer
Dear Lord, we pray to St. John Bosco, Father and teacher of the young, whose
early years were difficult before being ordained, dedicated
himself to the education of the young and chose love rather
than severity as his tool for teaching children to treasure
God’s will and promise. Lord
show us the value of our teachings and by our deeds, both in
our fraternal charity and being the light of truth, we can dem-
onstrate our genuine faith in you.
