establish themselves and the thorns that choke out growth. If we are to become
good soil, we must do things to make it happen. Going to church, engaging our
families in faith based conversations and activities, and sharing our love of God
with others are just a few ideas. Just as I have put energy into my garden, I will
put effort in understanding God˅s word and living the life he wants me to live.

RAYER
Dear Lord, Help me to understand your good word and let it guide my life. Keep
me mindful of the important things in life and help me ignore and filter out the
distractions that pull me away from you. Let me become like rich soil that allows
roots to take hold and bear much fruit. I ask this in your name. Amen.
