that day on the mountain. We all must reach out, to console those who grieve,
those who struggle each day with the question ˈwhy?ˉ

A phone call, a prayer,
time spent just being will help all who mourn find a place of rest and peace. I
have seen true compassion, true empathy, for those who mourn. The sorrow
does diminish, the physical pain does ease, the memories become more vivid,
these are all visible signs of our Heavenly Father

ing. A gift from the Holy Spirit that makes the days without our loved ones more
livable and that we will see them once again, a promise made by our Savior.

Heavenly Creator~
We are blessed by your gifts, we
hear the voices of those in grief and
are able to reach out to comfort
them. We thank you for all the
wondrous gifts that you have given
to us, as true beloved disciples of
Christ we reach out and console
those who weep for their loved
ones, who˅s anguish journeys with
them each day. We seek to find
that place of peace, knowing that our loved ones who have passed into the mys-
tery of death are with you, enveloped in your loving embrace, at peace. Please
watch over us as we journey forward, keep our spirits strong, watch over us in
our dark moments and let us see your glory as we find solace in your compassion
and love.
We pray this in your Holy Name,
Amen
