just human, God has forgiven me for my transgressions, it is time to
let go of the past and forgive those that have hurt meˉ. As Jesus
states, come to the altar during this Lent, but come with forgiveness
and compassion and lay aside the hurt so that we may all heal to-
gether. I see my father passing from this life to another and I see in
his soul, the forgiveness of so many. How wonderful a life we could
all have if we did not wait for the end of life to find forgiveness for
ourselves and others! This is the inspiration of Jesus, to find forgive-
ness and peace.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father ˀ During our journey of Lent, please help us to
find forgiveness and passion in our hearts for those that we feel have
wronged us. Let us forgive them and find peace with them. Let us
be beloved disciples in following the principles of Jesus, to love our
neighbors and find in them the qualities that Jesus finds in us.
