As a cradle Catholic I was taught
this part of our theology to be a
truth I never questioned. How-
ever, as an adult in a teaching ca-
reer, my mind took over what my
heart had always known and I questioned myself and my belief in God. I decided
to pray and began to do something positive, instead of giving something up,
during Lent. Through facilitating prayer groups here at Holy Family over the past
five years, I’ve come to share and hear from others who have had similar
thoughts and worked through them. This has made all the difference! I’ve come
to believe in a more meaningful way, in the love of God for me and for each of
us.
Our charge as Christians is to really know
“Jesus as the Bread of Life”. As Catholics,
through Mass and receiving holy com-
munion we reinvigorate our spiritual
connection with Christ. May we continue
to find positive ways to share our truths
and love of God with others to continue
our growth and faith journey.

RAYER
God, our Creator, give us the courage to
believe with conviction! Help us to know
Jesus as the Bread of Life. Guide us to
grow in faith and to love others as you
love us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
