birthdays and anniversaries, I
give thanks. In moments of
great joy and great pain I see
the work of God’s hands: con-
soling and comforting, encouraging and supporting me.
Heaven and earth are full of your glory!!!
In all of this I see the gospel proclaimed today come alive. We seek com-
munion or union with God as Jesus suggested that he and the creator is
one through the Holy Spirit, who gives us the Truth. I need to trust God’s
Spirit to give me truth even in moments of questions and confusion. This
is the promise of today’s readings during this holy season of Easter.

RAYER
Good and gracious God,
Overshadow us with your breathe, your Holy Spirit.
Breathe on us, Spirit of God; quicken and heal and purify and cleanse.
Strengthen and perfect that which is wanting in us.
Guide us to communion with you through the gifts of your Creation.
Let us bring your spirit of love and life to all we encounter and thus be a
light to the world
and sign of hope to our families and communities.
We ask this with faith, with hope and in love in Jesus’ name.
