In Luke this reminder is brought home starkly. Man is subject to
God's will and forgets at his peril. God warned in Noah's time and he
warned Lot and his family. To ignore the warning is to blaspheme
against God's Will. Blaspheme is an old word we don't hear often in
today's time of gentler language. But we are given free will to choose
and if we choose God

we are saved
.

not.
Prayer
Oh Lord, God of Love, creator of all, help us to worship You, not Your
creations, and help us to remember You are God and we are
not. We pray through the Love of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
