grumble that God got lot more than an hour a week. In retrospect, I
think my father was asking that of the adults that we would become.
And an hour a week seems hardly to scratch the surface. So, when God
calls us, at any time of the day, we should answer, be it with prayer,
with thanks, with charitable giving or with hug for a friend. In this
way, we are all his apostles.
Prayer
Heavenly father, thank you for calling me to your service. Help me to
remember that you can endow me with your grace is whatever I do, at
all times of the day. In your wisdom, lead me on a path to understand-
ing that I can be of use in
your name at all times.
