That is what we need to reflect. Some times we humans forget our role as the in-
struments in the hands of God to lead others to God. Instead we become a hin-
drance on the way of others to experience and be lead to God. Sometimes we
place ourselves in the place of God. We make ourselves or other things as idols
before others whereby they are prevented from experiencing God, God’s Light,
the saving Grace. Hence our mission as brothers and sisters of Christ and mem-
bers of his Church is to reflect Christ’s light to others just as the moon reflects
the light of the sun. As we are on this last day of the year 2011 let us thank the
Lord for all the blessings we have received in this year, and let us try to be true
bearers of God’s light in 2012.
And let us get enlightened by the
Word, God’s light, full of Truth
and Grace, to light up the way
for others.
Prayer
O’ Incarnated Word, full of truth
and Grace, help us to be
enlightened with your light, light
of truth, so that we may always reflect your light through our lives. In order to be
enlightened, remove the darkness of pride, greed, selfishness and all evil tenden-
cies, habits and attitudes from us. That we may come to know the truth and the
truth will set us free. We make this prayer through Christ the eternal truth, Amen.
