We have trees to shelter us from the warmth of a hot summer sun, and the beauty
of flowers too numerous to mention. Each day that we awake here in this life is a
blessing from the Lord, a new day to serve Him and be a blessing to others. Let
us sing praises to the Lord for His works.

RAYER
Lord God You gave the peoples of the world as the inheritance of your only Son;
you crowned him as King of Zion, your holy city, and gave him your Church to be
his Bride. As he proclaims the law of your eternal kingdom, may we serve him
faithfully, and so share his royal power forever. We ask this through Jesus Christ
our Lord. Amen
