pride and ego are not a part of the true self. God wants our true self ˀ our soul
ˀ where the holy spirit dwells. That soul is God˅s ˀ he gave it to you. All he
asks is that we give it back to him, and let him guide our lives. In return, God
promises that ˈwhoever loses his life for my sake and that of the Gospel will save
it.ˉ Wouldn˅t we all like to truly save our lives?
Prayer
Lord, give us the strength and the wisdom to do what you ask. We are thankful
that you love us so much to persuade us to follow your path, a path that
brings us peace, blessings and delight.
