UMMARY
I believe that the Scriptures for today are pointing out the sins of man,
and our responsibility to live a good life. It is easy to fall into the
ways of the world, but not so easy to live the life that God wishes for
us. God is Love and for that reason he is pointing out the pleasures
we may seek in the world looking for false images of love: love of
power, love of sinful pleasures, love of alcohol, love of fame and
countless other things that cloud our thinking

EFLECTION
God also wants us to know that He alone keeps us in existence. He
reminds us that we must seek God˅s way instead of our way. Do we
think we can lead a life without God, and then reclaim Him on our
deathbed? Many will not be able to have that opportunity because
death does not make an appointment.
We often say we are too busy to sit quietly in prayer, but it is truly the
best time of our day. If we don˅t pray, then we are chasing after the
dust bunnies of dandelions trying to catch everything, we can, but
catching nothing. Our true focus has to be on what the Lord wants
us to do. If we never take the time to listen, how will we ever know
what He wants from us?
He may want us to reach out to that lonely soul who just needs our
smile and kind words, or he may want us to be super patient with our
