Yes, his ministry on earth, his
preaching a Gospel of Love is finished,
but I think
what John in his Gospel has given us is the beginning of the coming of the king-
dom. The continuation of the Gospel now must take place in and through you and
me.
Today, may we be inspired to renew our commitment to Christ loving cry: ˈIt is
finished.ˉ To the work and ministry of revealing God love, to the washing of feet
as an act of servitude, and moreover taking up the cross and demonstrate Christ
life.
Christ showed us that humility is simply not thinking of yourself at all. We move
from the Good Friday moments in life remembering there˅s hope. Look ahead.
Easter is not far off.
It is finishedˎ Praise be to God!
Prayer
Jesus, I have heard your summons. May I be the living, walking, watching, and
working disciple who at the end of life may shout the great final cry with glad re-
sponseˁ it is finished. Amen.
