dence/secret/sorrow, or will I be the unworthy? Someone who will
take that confidence and betray them? Will I serve two Masters, to
enrich my own existence and let those who have asked for help and
trust by repaying them with betrayal?
Do we scowl when someone is honest and open and answer with "We
Just Don˅t Want to Hear It". Can we be honest enough with ourselves
to see that there is a darkness that whispers quietly to us to react un-
kindly, be abrupt and crass, to say hurtful things, and betray a confi-
dence?
The Spirit always enriches our lives, our loved ones, all those who we
come in contact with. When we are trustworthy, others will know that
our spirit serves only one master, for God knows our hearts, sees all
the things we do even when no one is looking.

RAYER
Creator God, as we remember St. Leo the Great on this day, we ask
that all will be inspired by his life and to serve only you. Help us to
serve you every moment of every day.
Protect us from the designs of other masters as they try to turn us
from you.
We ask this and all things in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen
