answer to me was a resounding NO! I attended church services at other
churches and often felt left out and less than welcome. When I came to Holy
Family I found a parish full of His followers who reflected His light and glory, who
sang joyfully to the Lord, and who, by their manner of life, through their welcom-
ing, helped me to see the glory of God.
I no longer pray to Jesus that my will will be done. With the support of the be-
loved disciples at Holy Family I now pray for His will to be done. I pray that I will
understand His will for me and that I will understand what He wants of me and
from me. I am working on my obedience to faith so that I may, by my manner of
life, someday help others to understand that Jesus is the light of the world.
My daughter and her husband have one child, our only grandchild so far, and
found themselves expecting another. She wanted to have three children; he
wanted two. My daughter prayed to Jesus for guidance, that she could be satis-
fied with two healthy happy children or that her husband would soften and agree
to a third child. Their prayers have been answered. My daughter will have her
three children; they will have twins in January 2012!
Prayer
Father, You have shared with us your only Son Jesus and He has lighted the Way
for us. Please give us the strength to lead by example in our efforts to Glorify
You. Amen
