weak. Then God sent the logos or word of God in the person of
Jesus. Jesus’ words, actions, teachings and experiences are enough
for a lifetime of learning. Jesus, so loving and generous, sent us the
paraclete to be with us forever. We have been given the gifts of the
holy Spirit to teach us and to inspire us.
Recently I have struggled with the church—I wonder if it is doing the
right thing. And then I am reminded that we are all Christ’s body the
church—then I change my question and ask: Am I doing what Christ
wants for the good of his body.
I reflect and I pray.
Prayer
O my God,
You know everything that is in my heart
Teach me to interpret my life with your loving lens.
Help me to live my life as you would have me live it.
I ask this in your holy name.
