father sent Jesus and strengthened Him by commanding Him what to say and
sending Him to save the world.
The really interesting thing about
sending
, though, is that it˅s not a stand alone,
one-way action: there must be
receiving
as well for the sending to be truly ef-
fective. And when we are received, we are again in a safe zone ˀ that ˈsavedˉ
zone.
We must receive those who have been sent - Jesus and the Holy Spirit - with our
open hearts and our open arms. And in receiving the message we˅ve been sent
- the message of love and eternal life ˀ we are saved.

RAYER
Open my heart and my mind to receive the true message you˅ve sent through
your son, Jesus Christ, of love and eternal life. Help me to send your message to
others by my actions and words. Amen.
