apostles were ordinary men. They struggled to understand Jesus. It took them a
long time to fully believe in His message. With the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,
they fully embraced their Faith and spread it to the ends of the earth.
We have heard the Good News. How have we been changed? How do we join the
Heavens in declaring the glory of God? How do we follow Jesus?
In reflecting on the lives of these apostles, we can clearly see that Faith is a gift
of God, not something we can achieve on our own. Through Baptism, we ordi-
nary humans are given the precious gift of Faith to nurture and to share. While we
may struggle at times to truly believe Christ˅s message of Salvation, our Faith will
help us to embrace the message and to pass it on through our words and ac-
tions. The Spirit of God fills us with the strength we need to overcome our
doubts and to become extensions of those first apostles. We may fail at times,
we may fall. But the Good News is always there for us. How blessed we are to be
Christ˅s Disciples!

RAYER
Dear Creator God,
We have been brought to you through the redemptive act of your Son and the
sanctifying work of the Spirit. Please help us to always cherish your gift of Faith
which brings us the Hope of eternal life. Give us the courage to spread your word
through our everyday interactions with your people. May we be a reflection of
your all-embracing Love to everyone we meet today.
We praise You, we bless You, we thank You.
