sprout and grow because of their exposure to different elements. The
right amount of water, the combination of darkness and light, the
make-up of the soil and the surroundings are all a part of what makes
each branch unique and yet no branch can bear fruit if disconnected
from the vine.
I know I will never find the start of the path for which I often search.
It doesn˅t exist. What I do know is that as long as I stay connected
to the vine, He can grow in me. As long as I stay connected to the
vine, my branch will grow towards the light each day. I know that as
long as I stay connected to the vine, He is with me even in the dark-
ness of night. I know that if I stay connected to the vine, He will
nourish me. I know that as long as I stay connected to the vine, I can
bear much fruit.

Lord, may Your roots grow deep within my soul that I may bear much
fruit as Your disciple in Christ.
