sage that our Lord is truly the Almighty and we are His creations
who will need to repent and recognize His greatness. It is through
baptism that we are forgiven—a truly amazing gift of love. We must
acknowledge the magnitude of that gift and honor the Lord by being
the very best we can be---EVERY DAY!
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, Please help us to recognize when we are
jumping to conclusions and not taking the time to discover the truth
of a situation or in judging another. Help us to exercise more com-
passion by realizing what we actually know to be truth and discern
what we are imagining could be true…but we are not sure. In those
cases, help us to love instead of judge. You loved all and did not
judge. Help us to teach the goodness that you have taught us when
we are confronted with circumstances that warrant gentle lessons.
May we be ever mindful that we must be the very best of what you
have created us to be and lead by example. Thank you for the bless-
ing of Baptism. May we honor that beautiful sacrament by repenting
and requesting your forgiveness often and learning from our mis-
takes. We ask you to aid us in being the very best version of our-
selves…EVERY DAY!
We ask you this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
