Summary

Striving for mutual love, respect, and a spirit of forgiveness should

always remain at the heart of family life.

Reflection

What is at the heart of our family life and to what extent is it a re-

flection of the faithful and forgiving love that God has for all of us?

Do we cherish our family members? Do we let them know that

they are cherished? It's not always easy being with family but be-

cause we are chosen by God, holy and beloved, we should let the

peace of Christ rule in our hearts and our homes.

Prayer

Dear Father,

Thank you, God, for the blessing of family. May we always

treat one another with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness

and patience. And through Your grace, let us be a strength and

support for one another in times of challenge.

Amen
