How am I moved as I encounter the crowds while shopping or driving? Today
and throughout these next few weeks of preparation, try to imitate the example
of Jesus and St. Nicholas and assist the needy, the sick and the suffering.
Prayer
Good and gracious God, you have given me
so many gifts. Strengthen my resolve to share
with others all that you have given me. Ena-
ble me to become more patient and more
present to all those I encounter.
I make this
prayer in the name of Jesus who lives with
you and the Spirit as one God.Amen.
