On April 23, 2016 the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton class met at St .Louis of France in La Puente. Our next class will be at Alemany High School, Mission Hills on May 7, 2016.

As part of this day, we met with our facilitators for next year, Deacon Memo and his wife Liliana. We discussed what will be covered in our class as well as other activities that are part of next year. These included our class project of helping serve lunch to those with special needs, practicums on the marriage rite and communion services, presentations on various morality issues, the call to orders (Ceremony with Archbishop Gomez), pre-ordination week long retreat, and ordination which will occur on June 10, 2017.
We also received some sad news on this day. Ding Francisco, whose wife Tess passed away during our second year of formation, informed us that he has made the decision not to continue on with diaconate formation after completing this year. We are sad to see our friend go. His spirit will be missed.
