Dear Parishioner:

We have all been shocked and saddened by the news of a plot to harm teachers and students at South Pasadena High School. We are incredibly blessed that the South Pasadena Police Department, working closely with the administration of the high school, was able to thwart the plot and that the two students responsible are now in custody.

As a sign of solidarity with our schools and community, we invite you to a Prayer Vigil today (Wednesday) at 7 p.m.  We will meet at Holy Family in the Gathering Area and walk to the School together.  There we will be joined by members of the other churches in South Pasadena and other community members.  We will pray together for our youth the night before they return to classes.

If you live in South Pasadena, please extend an invitation to your neighbors and friends to join with us in prayer.  The vigil is welcoming to people of all faiths as well as non-faiths.
