Hello Parishioners and Friends,

It is with pleasure and gratitude that I write to you.

I am grateful for those of you who support our efforts in our office of Life, Justice, and Peace (Giving Bank). Your contributions allow us to continue to serve those most in need in and around our parish community as we are called to do so.

Not only do we serve the many that come to our doors weekly for food items, but we are able to share food throughout our region. We share with other parishes and another local church for their communities, a rehabilitation housing center – where the residents are recovering from various addictions, as well as the Ronald McDonald House of Pasadena, where families reside while their sick child receives necessary medical treatment. Recently, we have started to share with the Sisters Poor of Jesus that you might have read about in the bulletin last month. Through our Blessings in a Backpack program, we serve three Catholic schools, and of course, we continue to assist those who are homeless Monday – Friday with lunches, hygiene items, clothing, and other needs that arise.

Many volunteers and ministries assist us so that we can accomplish all the above and more. Those that come to serve with us offer encouragement and inspiration to all our clients as well as each other. We are grateful to provide a place of fellowship. It is such a blessing to work alongside those who give of themselves so freely. I am incredibly grateful to each one.

We remain committed to advancing our services where there are needs to be met. We are looking forward to growing our Walking with Moms in Need Initiative, as well as our relationship with the Sisters Poor of Jesus to support their efforts.

I am optimistic as I see more of you returning to Mass and other parish activities and meetings.

Welcome Back!

May God continue to bless each of you.
