minded vision of John of the
Cross in rejecting all worldly
things for God. But even in our
busy lives we can strive to do
just a little bit better every day
in putting God first. We can
put aside some time each day
to quiet ourselves, even for just
a few minutes, and listen for
God’s plan to be made clearer
to us in the silence. In this
overly connected world we can
turn off all the electronics, just
for a few minutes, and connect
to God in prayer. Just for a few
minutes. Every day.
