Dear Parishioners and Friends,

Advent is a time of preparation, hope, watchful waiting, and joyful expectation to celebrate Christ’s first coming in Bethlehem and to prepare for His second coming. Advent is also a hectic time, very busy, stressful, and sometimes, by the time Christmas rolls around, we are happy that it is over. To help you prepare and capture the spirit of peace, serenity and joy of what Christmas should truly be all about, I invite you to attend as many of our Holy Family events of the season as possible. Do not worry! The presents will be bought and wrapped, our homes will be beautifully decorated, and family and friends will gather, but if Jesus is not at the center of it all, then it is just a lot of work without any lasting impact. As God entrusted Himself to us as a baby, surrender yourself to God this Advent and let His love guide you through this holy season.
