and alone and we reach
out to comfort him, let us

When the world is full of
terror, pain, and hopelessness, let us remember,
God is with us.
Let us remember that each day, no matter what happens to us, let us remember,
God is with us.
Prayer
O Lord, as we approach the celebration of your birth, let us always remember that
you are with us. You guide us through the darkness, the pain, the sorrow, into
the light of hope and resurrection. It is through Thy will that our lives have pur-
pose, which we will go forth to live your works and make the world a place of
peace and joy. You, who live and reign forever and ever. Amen
