This advent season, let us focus on our faith
that gives us the powerful gift to believe
without actually seeing. After all, I never did
actually see Santa put those gifts under my
tree but man, I sure believed in that guy.
Prayer
God, as I face a new day, help me to be mindful of
what you have planned even enough I cannot see
you. May my focus stay on Your desires so that I do
not give my time, myself, and my day to other paths
or work. Grant me discernment so I can recognize
when a distraction is truly an indication of Your
leading and not something to avoid. I am excited to
see what today might bring.
