Music Ministry at Holy Family Catholic Church

Holy Family is blessed with a vibrant and diverse music ministry that enriches our worship experience each weekend. Our choirs and musicians offer a beautiful variety of musical styles, welcoming all to lift their hearts in prayer and praise.

  • 9:30 a.m. – Contemporary Choir This choir leads the congregation in a lively and prayerful celebration of the Eucharist through contemporary liturgical music. While focused on modern compositions, they also incorporate selections from the Church’s rich musical tradition.
  • 11:15 a.m. – Traditional Choir Rooted in the classical and sacred music tradition, this choir offers hymns, choral works, and liturgical pieces that span centuries—from Gregorian chant to beloved traditional hymns.
  • 12:45 p.m. – Holy Family Catholic School Children’s Choir Open to students in grades 3 through 8, this choir gives our school children the opportunity to lead the community in song. Their joyful and spirited presence enhances our worship in a special way.
  • 5:30 p.m. – Youth and Young Adult Choir This dynamic ensemble brings energy and rhythm to the liturgy with a focus on contemporary styles. Drums, guitars, piano, and other instruments support vibrant music that resonates with young people and the young at heart.
  • Other Weekend Masses Our other liturgies are led by skilled cantors accompanied by piano or organ, providing a prayerful and reflective musical setting.

No matter the choir or style, all music at Holy Family is selected to support the liturgy and invite full, conscious, and active participation from the assembly. From ancient chant to contemporary praise, our music ministry seeks to glorify God and deepen the faith of all who gather.
