Grace, gratitude and generosity are the “3 G’s” which Holy Family seeks to incorporate into all aspects of parish life.
Grace—spending time in prayer, personally and communally, allowing the grace of God to work through us and transform us.
Gratitude—placing our gifts and talents at God’s service in and through the Church, as a grateful response to all that God has given us.
Generosity—sharing our material and financial resources in charity out of compassion and as a faith response to the needs of others.
In keeping with the spirit of the “3 G’s”, we extend a warm welcome to visitors and new parishioners. If you are new to Holy Family or are visiting for the first time, be sure to stop by the Welcome Center located outside in the Gathering Area on Sunday mornings. There you will find a wealth of information about parish life, ministries, organizations, and service opportunities. On most Sundays, there is Continental Breakfast in the Parish Hall. We look forward to meeting you!
If you are visiting the campus at other times, please come to the Pastoral Center and pick up a welcome packet. The receptionist will be happy to answer any questions you may have or will refer you to the appropriate staff member. Above all, feel at home.
Our hope is that newcomers to our faith community soon find a “home” here and will become registered parishioners. To promote a sense of belonging, we communicate regularly with the parish community. Registered parishioners receive all parish communications, such as letters from our pastor, announcements of parish programs and events, and occasional special publications. Sacramental preparation and an extensive faith formation program for children, teens, and adults are available to registered parishioners.
Holy Family is a large Parish – in our membership and in the scope of our activities. There is a lot going on here, and it can take some time to figure out where and how you want to connect. Whether you are a registered parishioner, exploring different church options in your area or just visiting Holy Family for a while, we invite you to contact Mary Schimmoller, Volunteer Coordinator, to find out what ministries may interest you.
