without their faith guiding them
and those who were never
raised with a strong faith to
begin with are the lost sheep I
pray for. Actually, just praying
is stopping short of my duty as
a true disciple. My role as
disciple is to help nurture
these lost sheep and introduce them back into the flock. If it is not
the will of my Father to let them be lost, than it cannot be my will ei-
ther. As we move deeper into Advent, let us be mindful of the lost
sheep within our reach. There is no better way to prepare for Christ-
mas than to gather the flock. Why? Just like those 2
nd
graders, 'Well
of course, because we love them!
Prayer
As we prepare for the celebration of your birth, help guide us toward
fulfilling your will of finding the lost and bringing them back to you.
Open our eyes and let us be your hands and feet as we share your
good word. In this we pray. Amen
