Bishop Taylor was ordained to the Episcopal priesthood in 2004 after a career as a newspaper reporter, director of the Nixon Library, and chief of staff to former President Richard Nixon. He has served as Bishop of the Episcopal of Diocese of Los Angeles since 2017, leading 200 parishes, missions, schools and other institutions in six counties. Bishop Taylor received a bachelors degree in political science from UC San Diego and a master of divinity at the Claremont School of Theology. He is married to Canon Kathy O’Connor and is the father of four and grandfather of four. Read more

Sister Kathleen, a Religious Sister of Charity, is a spiritual director who has facilitated retreats and workshops in Australia, Africa, England, Ireland, and the United States, and has worked to end human trafficking through education, advocacy, and support for survivors. A vocation director for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for 21 years, she holds a masters degree in spirituality from the University of San Francisco and a doctorate in ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Sister Kathleen recently completed a six-year term on the leadership team of her religious community based in Dublin, Ireland. Read more

Fr. Kevin O’Brien, S.J., is a Jesuit priest, educator, and spiritual director. He currently serves as executive director of Fairfield Bellarmine, an innovative two-year associates’ degree program in Bridgeport, Connecticut on a new campus of Fairfield University. Fr. O’Brien is the author of the award-winning book, The Ignatian Adventure: Experiencing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in Daily Life, now in its second edition. His follow-up book, Seeing with the Heart: A Guide to Navigating Life’s Adventures, has recently won first prizes in spirituality by two Catholic media associations. Fr. O’Brien has taught and served in the administrations of Georgetown University, and Santa Clara University. Born in Canada and raised in South Florida, Fr. O’Brien practiced law and taught high school before joining the Jesuits in 1996. Fr. O’Brien also has a long association with the Jesuit Refugee Service. Read more
